Prayer for your children

Heavenly Father even though my child/children are far away from You, I thank You that my child/children will remember You. That my child/children will return again to You. You Lord will bring them back from the wilderness, You will save my child/children from worldliness, You Lord will remove my child/children from any place that will hinder my child/children from fully surrendering to You Lord. My child/children will pass safely through the sea of distress, for the waves of the sea will be held back, and the waters of the Nile will dry up. The pride in my child/children’s heart will be crushed, and the rule of sin, death, disobedience, addiction, will end. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.

This prayer is adapted from Zechariah‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭11‬. The Bible is full of scripture that can be prayed over our children, marriage, and ourselves. When you find a particular scripture, make it personal to yourself and to your situation.

When you pray this prayer, I am standing in agreement with you. Don’t lose hope, keep praying! You will see God move. It’s not always when you want him to move. It’s not always the way you want him to move, but he does move.
